Privacy Policy

What we collect

We keep the smallest set of data that lets the product work:

• Account data — email address, display name, username, and a hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
• Content you create — prompts, style descriptions, lyrics, any images you upload as references, and the generated audio and cover art.
• Usage data — credit transactions, play counts, likes and follows, so the library and Explore pages work.
• Technical data — IP address and request metadata, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

We do not sell your data, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Who else processes it

Generating a track requires sending your prompt to Google (Gemini API / Lyria 3). Your prompt and any reference images are transmitted to Google for that purpose and are subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy. We do not send your email address or account identifiers to the model provider.

We also rely on infrastructure providers for hosting, database and file storage. They process data on our instructions only.

Why we are allowed to process it

• To perform our contract with you — running your account and generating the tracks you ask for.
• Legitimate interests — keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, and understanding aggregate usage.
• Legal obligation — where we must retain records.

How long we keep it

Account data and your generated tracks are kept while your account is open. Reference images uploaded for image-to-music are temporary and cleaned up periodically. When you delete a track, its audio and cover files are deleted with it. When you delete your account, the associated records are removed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, to object to processing, or to complain to a supervisory authority. You can edit your profile and delete your tracks or your account from within the app; for anything else, contact us.

Children

Suno is not directed at children. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
