Terms of Service

1. The service

Suno lets you describe a song in plain language and generates audio from that description using Google's Lyria 3 models through the Gemini API. Generation is probabilistic: the same prompt will not produce the same track twice, and we cannot guarantee any particular musical outcome.

2. Accounts

You need an account to generate music. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

3. Credits

Generation consumes credits. Credits may be topped up or granted according to active plans. Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred between accounts.

If a generation fails for a reason on our side, the credits for that generation are returned to your balance automatically. Credits spent on a track that completed are not refundable simply because you dislike the result.

4. Your content and ownership

You keep the rights to the prompts, lyrics and images you supply. As between you and Suno, you own the tracks you generate and may use them personally, including publishing them, subject to these terms and to applicable law.

Commercial usage rights are not included in the free plan. If you intend to monetise a generated track, wait for a paid plan or contact us first.

By making a track public on Suno, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, stream and display it within the service so other users can hear it. You can make a track private again at any time.

5. Watermarking

Every track generated through Suno carries Google's SynthID watermark. The watermark is inaudible but detectable, and identifies the audio as AI-generated. Do not attempt to strip or obscure it.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Suno to:

• imitate the voice, likeness or identity of a real artist or person;
• reproduce copyrighted lyrics, melodies or recordings;
• generate hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or otherwise unlawful material;
• misrepresent generated audio as a human performance where that would deceive;
• scrape, resell or automate access to the service outside its intended interface.

The upstream models apply their own safety filters. Requests that trip those filters are rejected and the credits are returned.

7. Availability

Suno is provided as-is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features. Generation depends on a third-party model provider; if that provider is unavailable, generation will be too.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you why unless doing so would be unlawful or would compromise an investigation.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Suno is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. When we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Suno after a change means you accept the revised terms.
